Cleaning my old wood kitchen cabinets w/Fantastic or 409? - a fantastic liquid

I am disgusted by the amount of brown fat old casting my closets. I clean them enough to spray a section at a time, then with a towel. They have become about 2 shades lighter, which is desirable.

My question is, what should I do after they leave to dry and rinsed? If the wax finish or something like liquid gold, or oil of lemon?

It is a very old house and some cleaning of the house was once abandoned by the owners of nursing homes.
